It’s been almost a year since I last blogged. So much has happed this past year and too much to write about everything. Here are some of the highlights. I went back as far as Katelyn’s birthday in July.

Stickers

This is Tyler's best friend Kristen. Every day he ask to play with her. They play so well together and always have so much fun together. When she first got to our house this day she told Tyler he was her best friend. I thought it was really cute. This day she was over for about 6 hours. I didn't hear one argument which shows how well they do together. Sometimes I almost forget they are here. Tyler had gone to a party a few days before and had made a milk jug helmet and had covered it with stickers. Kristen and Tyler decided the stickers would look better on them. They thought they looked so funny and kept laughing. I had to get a picture. What cute kids!

Gingerbread Train & House

The kids loved making their Gingerbread House and Train. Most of the candies even made in on them. Every day for the past week they’ve pick out a few treats to eat. I don’t think Candies ever lasted this long. They need to go soon though. I’m tired of them on my table but the kids really like them.

New Years Eve

For New Years Eve we went with family and friends to a Scout Lodge up Payson Canyon. There was lots of food to eat, games to play, time to visit and relax and then sledding the next morning. It’s always a lot of fun and the kids loved sledding and playing in the snow. After we got home we all went over to Rich’s parents were we had home cooked Chinese food. Yum Yum.

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas morning. The kids got their pillow pets from Santa that they kept hoping they would get. Katelyn was excited to get lots of Barbie furniture and even more excited later when she went downstairs and found a big Barbie house to put the furniture in. Rich got the Tron Disc and Tron Light Cycle he was wanting. Yes he is still just a big kid and loves his toys. Tyler was excited about his Batman Trio blocks and his cars. We had a great day spending time together as a family and relaxing at home.

Every year we get together with Rich's family on Christmas Eve. We have dinner, reinact the Nativity and do a gift exchange. It is always crazy but alot of fun. This year Tyler was Joseph and Katelyn was an Angel. We had it at Great Grandpa Jensen's house. We were really happy to have Great Grandpa and Mary with us. It was a great evening. Afterwards we went home and the kids raced to get to bed as fast as they could so Santa could come. Unfortunatly Rich and I had lots to do before we could go to bed.

Christmas Time in Pocatello

We were lucky this year to spend the 4 days before Christmas in Pocatello. We had a progressive dinner on Monday with all the Gibson's. It was a lot of fun to visit everyone and see everyones houses all decorated for Christmas. One day I took Tyler over to Kevin's & Kelli's and Kelli and I did applesauce. It took a while to do but the end result is always really nice. On Wednesday night we had movie night at Uncle Steve's & Aunt Karen's house. We had pizza, ate popcorn and watched The Polar Express. The night before we came home Kevin's family and Grandpa Howard & Grandma Maurine come over for dinner. Afterwards we did a gift exchange. It was a fun evening. We had a great week visiting with the family. The kids loved all the time they had to play with their cousins and Grandparents. I feel very blessed to have all my family close togeter so we can spend time together. On Friday(Christmas Eve) we came home so we could be home for Christmas.

Thanksgiving 2010

We went to Pocatello Thanksgiving Day. We had dinner at Uncle Steve’s and Aunt Karen’s. It was great to be able to see all the family. The girls enjoyed giving my cousin Kendra massages. We had a great time staying with my parents and having Jen’s family there. I love having the kids be able to spend lots of time with their cousins. We ended up spending an extra day there and coming home on Monday.

Fall 2010

Katelyn started Dance again in September. She hasn’t taken a class since Tyler was a baby. She loves to dance. She took a class with one of her friends Lindsay and her sister Brooklyn. She had a lot of fun and did really well at all 3 of her performances.

Provo Temple

Visit to the Provo Temple in November. We always love to visit the temple grounds and to feel the peacefulness that is felt there.

Halloween 2010

This year Katelyn was a witch and Tyler was a race car driver. Halloween Day was really rainy and cold. We didn’t know how much trick or treating we would get in at night so we took the kids to the mall in the afternoon. Afterwards we went to the church house for trunker treating. Once we were done at the church we went to a few homes and then to Grandpa and Grandma. We had a great day with family and friends.

Rich’s youngest brother was married in the Bountiful Temple October 16th. That evening they had a reception and dance at the Church. It was a wonderful day. We LOVE having Isabelle in our family.

Island Park

In August we went to Island Park with my family. We stayed in a really nice cabin. We went through the park, visit West Yellowstone and went to the Playmill Theater. We relaxed at the cabin, watched movies, did crafts, played games, soaked in the hot tub, swung on the swings, went on drives, and went to Big Springs to feed the fish. Matt and Rich also took the kids fishing. The kids especially loved spending so much time with their cousins. We had a great time. Thanks Grandpa & Grandma.

Katelyn's 7th Birthday

A night at the movies watching “The Tooth Fairy”. We had a concession stand where they could buy treats with “Katelyn Dollars”. Afterwards we opened presents, had cake and the kids played. Her cousins Emily and Abby stayed over for a sleepover. Everyone had a great time.

Katelyn lost her first tooth Wednesday morning. She was trying to pull something loose with her teeth and instead yanked out a tooth. She came screaming holding her tooth. I though she had brook the the tooth off. After looking closer I realized it was her tiny little tooth with part of the root. She also had a tooth that was growing in behind this one. After the initial shock of loosing the tooth Katelyn looked in the mirror and thought it was kinda cool and very excited to know the tooth fairy would be coming. We'd been watching her front tooth thinking that would be her first tooth to come out since it was loose. We hadn't even notice that she had a tooth coming in on the bottom. Oops. She is excited that she can still whistle.

9th Anniversary

So I'm a little late getting this posted but now I think I'm caught out.
February 24 was our 9th anniversary. Time sure has flown by fast. We were married in the Timanogos temple. I love the phrase "for time and all eternity" What an amazing day it was. Despite the snow coming down while taking pictures I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. 9 years later I am blessed to have 2 wonderful kids and husband I love dearly. I love knowing that because of that special day 9 years ago that we will be together for ever.

Tyler loves to play with his friends. Kristen, Mac and Tyler play so well together. It's great because they have fun and I can get my stuff done at the same time. I decided I need more dress up clothes for boys. Fortunately Mac was happy being Superman with a blanket around his neck.

I can't believe my little boy is 3. Boy has time gone by fast. He has grown so much lately. We are so blessed to have Tyler in our family. He loves his big sister and loves to do what ever she is doing. He is Daddy's little shawdow. If Daddy is working on something Tyler is right there next to him asking questions and wanting to help. He loves to play basketball with his Daddy and was so excited to get his very own basketball to match his Daddy's big one. He loves to be Mommy's helper. He is full of energy and keeps us all on our toes. He is excited to be a big boy and it is very important to him. We are hopefully towards the end of potty traing and he is very proud of his "big boys" after he goes potty he reminds us that he is now a big boy and doesn't need his baby diapers anymore. We are very excited too.

For Tyler's Birthday Katelyn and I decorated the house. Tyler was so excited to wake up to banners and balloons. For dinner we went to McDonalds with Grandpa and Grandma Jensen. After dinner we went home and opened presents. He was so excited for his presents. The next day (Saturday) we had 7 of his friends come over for a party. It was totally crazy the whole time but I think everyone had fun. I was very grateful that our friends Kevin and Tiffany stayed with their son and helped out.

Christmas Season

The Christmas Season started with a party with our Christmas Party at Uncle Eric's and Aunt Allison's house. We had dinner followed by a visit from Santa Clause. It is both entertaining to both the young and old.

On Christmas Eve Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sandra came. They went to dinner and a movie while we had a Christmas dinner, gift exchange and acted out the Nativity with the family. We had a great evening.

Christmas morning we work up and opened presents. The best was the excitement Katelyn had when she went in the front room and saw two big stuffed dogs from Santa. She came running in our room all excited and then went to try to get Tyler out of bed. They she went down to wake up Grandpa and Grandma. The kids were so excited opening all their presents. Tyler's favorite was a remote control train engine from Grandpa and Grandma. Rich also received a gift that surprised him. I had bought a remote control Hummer that was at the Scout Yard sale in the Spring. He had really wanted it. It ended up not selling and so I bought it afterwards and have had it hidden all year. I'm not sure who was more excited Rich or the kids. We enjoyed the day together at home. On Sunday Grandpa had to go home but Grandma went with us to Paradise. We spent the night at Grandma Ladell's and spent time with Uncle Paul, Aunt Barbara and the kids. On Monday we headed to Pocatello for the week. Rich enjoyed his much needed time off and enjoyed going to several movies with my dad. We had a great time in Pocatello.

Thanksgiving

We spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Pocatello. We were there Wed-Sunday. Jen & Matt's family was there as well. It was so good to see them. We have really missed seeing them since they have moved to Oregon. The kids loved spending time with their counsins and Grandpa and Grandma. Friday Uncle Paul and Aunt Barbara came with their kids. We all went to Hoilday Inn that night for Pizza, Swimming, Movies and games and then more swimming in the morning. Thanks Grandpa! I'm am so grateful to have such a wonderful family and to only be 3 hours away from home. They kids also loved their new PJ from Grandpa and Grandma and riding Uncle Kevin's 4 Wheeler

Great Grandpa's Wedding

Rich's Great Grandma past away last May. Grandma was a great lady. Although she was very sick by the end of her life it was sad to see her go. Katelyn had a espeically had a hard time. She really missed her and was so worried about Grandpa and how lonely he was. All her prayers included help Grandma know we miss her and help Grandpa not be so lonely. Grandpa reconnected with someone he once had a date with when he was young. They hit it off and they were married the middle of November. At first Katelyn had a rough time with the idea but after meeting Mary and seeing how happy Grandpa was she has grown to love her new Grandma Mary. We are so happy that Grandpa has found someone else.

Halloween

Oh Halloween we had a Ward Party. Afterwards we went Trick or Treating with Steve and Adrienne's family. Tyler was Woody, Katelyn was Rapunzel, Daddy was one of the Blue's Brothers and Mommy was a witch.

Glitter

For Katelyn's birthday someone gave her some glitter. Lindsey and Katelyn were playing one day and this is what I walked into find. They had the biggest smiles.

Tyler has also had fun with the makeup. One day he was really quite and I found him painting on Katelyn's walls with her makeup another day this is how I found him.

Hoogle Zoo

The kids loved seeing all the animals at the zoo. Tyler exspecially loved watching the monkeys. When we finally pulled him away from them he keep waving and saying bye monkeys. It was really cute. Both kids loved the small animal building. Tyler ran from window to window looking and then he would run back and look again. Katelyn would've been happy if we would've let her keep watching a black footed kitten while we continued through the building. There was a baby girrafe that was only 5 days old. It was born on Katelyn's birthday. The kids had so much fun and keep running from exhibit to exhibit that by the time we were ready to leave both kids were worn out and wanted in the stroller.

Salt Lake Temple

Yesterday Rich only workred a half day so we decide to have fun family Day before he headed to Youth Conference and the kids and I head to Paradise. We first went to Hoggle Zoo. After the Zoo we went to the Lion's House for dinner and then walked around the Temple ground. It was really beautiful and peaceful there. I love to see how much the kids love to be near the temple. The both get so excited when the see one. While on the temple grounds the kids keep wanting to take more pictures. Katelyn was so excited to see brides walking around and wanted to take pictures of them as well. I wish we could have spent more time on Temple grounds and go inside some of the buildings, but it had already been a long day and lots of walking and had lots of things to do when we get home. Both kids crashed on the way home. I asked Katelyn today what she like about being on the temple grounds and she said the feeling she felt inside. I asked her what she felt and she said a lot of love and that she knew Heavenly Father loves us and that we can return to leave with him again. She also felt happy knowing we would be together as a family forever. She also said how beautiful it was. I love these pround moments.

The kids and I went to Pocatello last Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. While there we went to the Gibson family reunion at Karen and Steves which was really nice and the kids had so much fun. On Friday night Grandma bought a cake and some balloons and we had a little party for Katelyn. The kids played on the waterslide and with ballons.

My little girl is 6 today. I can't believe how fast she is growning up. She is such a good girl. She has such a fun and loving personality. She is a great helper and loves taking care of otheres. She loves her little brother and he adores her. I am so blessed to have 2 amazing children. Today we had Katelyn's birthday party. I think it was a success. We had a big waterslide for the kids to play on. The kids loved it. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!!! Katelyn won't go down the slide because of the water that sprays you in the face but she still had lots of fun. Maybe if we put it up a couple of more times before taking it back mabye she'll try it and realize how much fun it is. The kids had fun on the slide, jumping on the trampoline, playing with waterballons and being chased by Rich and his bucket of water. He had all the kids laughing and then hiding. Katelyn got lots of cool presents from her friends. She had really wanted a castle cake and so I decided I'd try to make one and it actually turned out really good. The kids all loved it.

Daddy's Helpers

Katelyn and Tyler love to help their daddy. For the past few years Katelyn has helped roto till the garden and help mow the lawn. This year Tyler discovered the lawn mower. As soon as hears the mower start he comes running. When it's time to empty the mower bag he runs over to the garbage can and stands on the steps and tries to lift the lid. The kids love to help in the yard and like their daddy love power tools.

Memorial Day in Paradise

Every year we go to Paradise for Memorial Day. Usually we go Sunday afternoon, but this year we were able to go on Saturday. It was so nice having that extra day there. We stayed at Uncle Paul and Aunt Barbara's and had so much fun there. Kevin and Kelli's family stayed there as well. Grandpa Gary and Grandma Sandra stayed at Uncle David and Aunt Linda's because Aunt Carma and Unlce Don were at Grandma's. On Saturday we went to the Cementary to put flowers on the grave. We had let Katelyn pick out flowers to put on Grandpa's Carls grave. We got up and went to church Sunday morning and the kids both did great. Sunday we all had lunch together and then had a relaxing afternoon while the kids played. Monday we had our Danielson tradition lunch and the tractor pulled hayride. Katelyn and Tyler both went on two rides. The second ride Katelyn rode with Uncle Paul in the Tractor. Kevin took his 4 wheeler with him and gave the keys to Rich to use whenever he wanted. Thanks Kevin. Rich took the kids on several rides a day. I don't know who had more fun. We had such a great weekend visiting with everyone. We are very grateful for Paul and Barbara for letting us stay with them. Their house is one of the few places I can totally relax and not have to worry what Tyler is getting into. The kids had so much fun with their cousins and their baby kittens. Katelyn keeps asking when we get to go see her cousins again. She menitoned today that she is out of school so we can go see them again. We look forward to many more trips to Paradise.

Girls Day Out

Today was Mom's and Muffins day for Katelyn's class today. Katelyn was so excited to give me the Mother's Day card she made and the flower they planted several weeks ago and have been watching them grow. We went throught her book box and she read a lot of poems and books, and then we had muffins. After lunch Katelyn and I went to the Women's Expo at UVSU with Tandi and Jonathan. It was a lot of fun and the kids did awesome. Tandi and I had our makeup done, 2 chair massages each, and our hair done. After they were done with Tandi's hair they said they would curl Katelyn's hair too. Notice her curly hair in the picuters. This was several hours later thought so it's kinda messy. Katelyn was also very excited to get two flower clips for her hair. Katelyn also got a balloon made into a flower. It was a great afternoon. I couldn't believe we spent about 3 hours there. This wouldn't have been possible if I had Tyler with us. Grandpa and Grandma took Tyler with them to their Doctors appointments in the morning while I went to Katelyn's school and then took him to lunch. Grandpa volunteered to keep Tyler while we went to the expo. I have the best in-laws. Thanks for all you do.

Last weekend with the boys being gone we had a girls night with Tandi and Ashley (David and Jonathan also went on the campout). We went to dinner. There were some ducks outside so the girls followed them around feeding them crackers. We then went back to Tandi's and the girls had a Tea Party and then watched a movie. Tandi and I stayed up really late scrapbooking. In the morning we went to Home Depot for their Mother's Day build in grow project. They made little wheelbarrows and gave each of the kids a flower. We later let the kids paint them. I think everyone had lots of fun.

Campout with Daddy

Last week was the Fathers Son Campout. Every year Katelyn is heartbroken when her Daddy leaves her home. The past 2 years have been even worse because Rich has taken Tyler with him. Tyler had lots of fun being with his Daddy, Grandpa, Uncles and cousins. Rich told Katelyn he would have a campout with her in our trailer, in the backyard. Tonight was the big night. Rich popped popcorn and they are out in the trailer watching a short movie before bed.

We had some unexpected visitors this morning. It was a little after 9:00 this morning and we where leaving to run some errands. Rich had taken Tyler out to the car when I was grabbing some things. As Rich was sitting there 2 peacocks walk past the vehicle and into our back yard. Yes, I did say Peacocks. When I walked outside they were walking past the back door. Wow! I was surprised. We got Tyler out and we stood by the gate and watch as they wondered around our yard. Tyler was so excited and keep saying "Chickens, Chickens". We left for a couple hours and when we came home after picking up Katelyn from school they were just sitting in one of flower beds. Katelyn was quite upset thinking they were going to eat and smash all the flowers. We had the Hellewell's and Pachev's come over and check out our little friends. We called animal control and an officer came by. She said the best thing to do would be to scare them off, and hopefully they would find there way home. It took a few minutes but we were able to scare them off. They wondered to the neighbors and found a shady spot near their porch to sit.

My kids make me laugh. They are so cute. Tyler loves wearing Katelyn's old sunglasses. I think he looks cute. Rich of course does not like him to wear them. I think for Easter the Easter Bunny needs to bring him some boy glasses and a apron that does not have pink on it. The kids have been playing outside today and playing so well together. I love these kind of days. I went out one time to see how they were doing and found them on the trampoline with their bikes. After some cute pictures I told them no bikes allowed on the trampoline. Tyler did not want to get off. He had his trike bouncing pretty good. Afterwards they played "Poison Berry" on the trampoline. Apparently if the balls touch you to many times you die. Katelyn is very protective of her little brother and tries hard to keep him safe from the balls. She is such a good big sister.

Tyler turned 2 on February. I know it's late but I want to post some pictures anyways. We were in Pocatello a few days before his birthday and so we had a party for him while we were there as well as one in Provo on his birthday. He loves singing Happy Birthday. For days he keep singing Happy Birthday to himself.

More Soccer

Katelyn had another soccer game this morning. She did great. They only had 4 players so they all stayed in for the whole game. She had a some good kicks and blocks. She loves being out there on the field. I couldn't help but to laugh as I watched her out there. She gets distracted easily and looses track of the ball. She gallops and skips down the field but the important thing is she does keep moving after the ball. Her caring side of her follows her on the field. If anyone falls she makes sure they are okay and waits for them to hop up before she continues after the ball. She's such a good girl.

Soccer

Katelyn started Soccer last week. She loves it. She wishes she could play everyday. Her first game she made 3 goals. She was so excited and telling everyone. Her goals where actually made during practice when she was practicing kicking. It's all the same to her though. Her friend Joshua is on her team and two other boys from her class. She is the only girl on her team, but doesn't seem to mind. Last weeks games the weather was really nice but Wednesday's game was really cold. It was only 40 and windy. Katelyn was dressed in layers and had her hat and gloves on. She and didn't complain of the cold while running around, but as soon as it was her turn to set out she was on her Daddy's lap wrapped up in a blanket. Tyler loves to go and watch his sister play. He loves her pink and white soccer ball. He exspecially loves running off to the playground and seeing how far he gets before we catch him.
